Rose &  Loon elevates local artisan goods while providing a dynamic retail environment that highlights the makers while engaging the shopper. Rose & Loon supports brands with a strong sense of identity of who they are, what they create, and how they do it. These elements are shared and celebrated throughout the retail environment.

Rose & Loon celebrates the modern maker movement, bringing style and flavor to our lives.

Makers are invited to join an annual cycle to sell in the store. Participating makers pay rent based on goods inventory and a percentage of sales.

February 15 to March 31, 2024 // Open recruitment for Cycle 7 includes self-submissions, nominate a maker, and direct outreach from Rose & Loon

After April 1 // Collective decisions made

August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025 // Cycle 7

WHAT MAKES A GOOD MAKER?

MAKER SELECTION CRITERIA

Locally-made >> products are made by designers/makers who live and/or work in the MIDWEST/NORTH (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Nebraska, Missouri, and Ohio)

Goods with a story >> the makers and goods should have a compelling story

Enhance the store assortment >> goods should enhance the current collection and NOT compete with existing products and makers

Multiple products >> makers with multiple products across disciplines

Packaging >> goods should have attractive, professional and unique packaging

Branding >> makers and goods should have high-quality marketing materials and creative assets

Engaging >> makers should be excited about participating in events and promoting Rose and Loon
